Recently, a flash explosion occurred in the butanone oxime workshop of Lanhua silicone Co., Ltd. in Xiliuhe Town, Xiantao City, Hubei Province. After searching and rescuing overnight, 1 person was newly found lost contact, and the number increased to 5. It was confirmed that all of them had no vital signs. Up to now, the accident caused 6 deaths and 4 injuries. After the accident, Xiantao municipal Party committee and government attached great importance to it, and quickly organized public security, fire, emergency, environmental protection, market, health and other departments to the scene, mobilized 14 fire engines and more than 100 people to carry out rescue.

After the analysis, it is found that it is caused by improper use of pipelines. Ordinary plastic pipes are used. This can easily cause combustion and explosion accidents. Similar accidents have occurred countless times, and we are always reminded that the safety of production environment needs to be jointly maintained by everyone, especially in some places with strong corrosive medium or flammable and explosive, more attention should be paid to the selection of building materials and ventilation pipes.
